I have not gotten into any of those yet, although I've used docker and kubernetes at a previous employer. I really ought to spend a weekend learning those things. Also, on a separate note, I blocked the AI bot. It needs to be on anti-psychotics. ;)

I use Ubuntu on a Dell laptop. It's okay, although I notice that packages will sometimes break due to requirements the older the release is (even LTS releases!) Eventually, it gets fixed but it surprises me that they allow their repository updates to break things.

Sweet! I've used Red Hat/CentOS at previous employers and found it to be solid. I still mainly prefer Debian because of the wealth of software available and how easy upgrades are. I've heard of Rocky Linux, but don't have any experience with it.

I'm a bit surprised that interest in Linux isn't higher. Because of the whole Windows 10 going EOL debacle, I understand that people have been looking at Linux as an alternative for older hardware. One distro I've heard is popular is Zorin OS. I've used it in the past and was really impressed.

What do you like to use Linux for? As I've mentioned I'm a Debian person. I like to do some programming (been using CSharp a lot at work), am a major fan of Emacs, and also do a lot of authoring/publishing with LaTeX. Been getting into web development of late.

Most anime groups that I know of are affiliated with colleges. For instance, I was part of a couple of anime groups when I was in college and have fond memories of them. On the board game side, my self and the housemates do host board games every month. Maker space?

The only non-anime sci-fi series I've watched lately is Strange New Worlds. Always been a fan of Gundam and I remember Patlabor from back in the day. Last great one I've watched is Kaiju #8 :)

This has been going on my whole life. I've had others tell me they weren't allowed to talk to me, I've had bad rumors getting spread so people act like I'm walking around with an axe covered in fresh blood and I've been ostracized I don't know how many times.
