I'm annoyed, years ago I bought an .xyz domain because it was cheap, even though it's kind of an uncool tld. But now renewal is 23 Euros per year (incl. taxes). I should've gotten something like .eu And now I can't really change it because I'm hosting misskey and pixelfed instances.

This is the funniest thing I've seen today, possibly ever

A tweet by SarahStarberry that says "oh god read the vertical axis" on top of a chart measuring AI models' release dates and model numbers rather than any real capabilities

Seeing an article on an anime website and realizing the person who wrote it didn't even bother to watch the whole anime before shitting on it with her feminist point of view. I need to make a list of people who's reviews I can't trust.

On my work computer Task Manager isn't working anymore, the Details tab shows an empty list. Scrollable, so the items do load I guess, but it doesn't render. Good fucking job. I thought it was just some bug that required a reboot or something, but nope.. it's been 3 weeks since I first spotted this.

I took my #MeshCore companion on a flight for the first time (TSR to VLC). I was surprised how much range you get, I even got a direct packet from 500km away (it was 2byte and I couldn't find another repeater in that area with that prefix so I don't think it was a […] [Original post on ani.work]

I have this annoying issue with #CachyOS on my desktop where sometimes if I shut it down, it shuts down but it doesn't cut the power, so the lights are still on, USB still delivers power, fans are still spinning. Only way to recover is to hold the power button until it shuts down. This is quite […]

I'm noticing a trend, it seems #MeshCore signal drops a lot at night, at least in my area. (the time is UTC so the measurements are 3hours off, just add 3h to the time axis)
