Around 1900 BCE a scribe carved hieroglyphs in the Egyptian tomb of Khnumhotep II. He swapped standard symbols for unusual ones. Scholars still don't know exact purpose, but it was most likely to add mystery, and impress visitors. Almost 4,000 years old the oldest form of recorded "cryptography".

The French government has announced its plan to ditch Windows and switch to Linux 💯 They also moved 80,000 National Health Insurance Fund Employees to open source alternatives replacing big-tech platforms. It’s amazing to finally seeing governments opting for OSS! Public money = public code!

One of my fun/passion projects is the ukulele 🎸 So I built an App to help me practice. It contains a chord library, and other tools to help visualize and discover new chords, progressions, and keys. 👉 iOS apps.apple.com/nl/app/ukula... 👉 Android play.google.com/store/apps/d... #buildinpublic

Spent the weekend building Paperweight 🗿 While Moltbook just exposed everyone's emails and API keys to the internet, I'm taking the contrarian bet. A local-first desktop app to manage your inbox. Respects your privacy. Open-source. Star the repo or DM if you want to try it
