I just finished The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson the other day. Not a happy-go-lucky book but intriguing. A little bit Dune meets Mad Max meets sci-fi dystopian. I'd recommend it. (Hope you feel better soon. 🙂)

He’d stretched out his legs to keep his Doc Martens off the blanket and leaned back on his hands. Whenever he retrieved a piece of his lunch—a strange mix of fried pickle spears, Buffalo cauliflower nuggets, and coconut beer-battered tempeh—he rolled slightly to his left. Sometimes he winced when he moved, and I wondered if the position bothered his hips. He’d never admit it.

I feel the same! I think it was on Graham Norton’s panel show that H Clinton relayed how after Trump’s 1st inauguration speech, Dubya was overheard saying something like (I’m paraphrasing): “what the hell was that sh*t about?” (Scary how even he was recognizing that this situation is pure insanity.)

Absolutely agree! I had a PR professor once tell us if we stuck on a writing assignment to write anything: a post card, a letter, etc. The act of writing primes the pump for more intentional writing. :-)
