This has been up since October (when I adopted him). Yesterday Tommy Lee Jonesy gingerly put his paws into it. Today we have full success. Cats, man. #catsofbluesky #orangecat

This is cheating but these go back-to-back and really sum up Gable's mission statement: "She should run, but she had a terrible need to see this through. If she couldn't save Gable, maybe she could help someone else." #OneLineMC #CampRevPit #CRPLyrebirds

She's a petty criminal turned accidental federal agent in the Bureau of Untidy Occurrences (more on the Control side of the Alan Wake-to-Control spectrum). I'm probably the unfortunate Alan Wake of the whole affair! Just a guy with a typewriter trying to get his word count in.

Hi, #CRPLyreBirds at #camprevpit! I like my speculative with a lot of horror in it. My current WIP takes a lot of inspiration from Control/Alan Wake, if that gives a bit of flavor. My favorite writing beverage is coffee, at home I'm never far from espresso. I'm excited to be here!

This thread is super valuable. It's easy to feel really bummed about not winning, but there are so many paths to take, so many adventures to have. While I definitely wanted this door to open, I'm going to go find another door! Plus, camp! Let's go to camp, guys! #RevPit

It's been so much fun connecting with everyone! No matter the results, just getting here is seriously a huge accomplishment. See everyone at camp!

Time to take fresh eyes to my manuscript, bug some beta readers, and get to revising, no matter the outcome! Then back to the query trenches. I parted ways with my agent a while back so looking forward to seeing where new adventures take me. #RevPitWaiting

Bird by Bird by Anne Lamont always! Another book I keep close that isn't about craft as much as it is about the essence of being an artist is You Can Do Anything, Magic Skeleton! By @chuckwendig.bsky.social and @thefuzzyslug.bsky.social. This book gets me going on days when i almost can't.

A book with a magic skeleton on its cover!

Both! I used to be a hardcore pantser but the more I write, the more I love an outline. I finished my 1st draft of THE BUREAU OF UNTIDY OCCURRENCES quickly thanks to an outline (but found lots of surprises along the way). @scrivenerapp.bsky.social has been my go-to for YEARS. #RevPitWaiting

It's sort of chaos! Behold, a backdrop of multiple Princess Leia wigs, a Sorsha helmet (from Willow), Dani's headdress from Midsommar, and a face hugger on the fan. This probably sums up my personality well. #revpitwaiting #revpit

My cat needed an emergency vet visit today. I'm sitting in the vet's office, waiting to hear what's up, staring at this art. Same, art. Same.

I'm currently working on a video game! Early days yet but it's scifi horror/ isometric RPG. Currently teaching myself game dev, doing all the art myself and everything else because I'm a maniac. #RevPitWIting

I have two old cats, both FIV positive. The black one is Harrison Ford Prefect, who is also blind and a champion cuddler. He goes by Ford. The orange is Tommy Lee Jonesy, or Dr. Jones. They're not friends but they're working on it. They're both formerly feral LA street cats. #RevPitWaiting

I'd love to, mine is spec/horror too. It (I?) needs to breathe a tiny bit, but it will be ready for beta soon, and I'd love a critique partner (plus more writer friends!)

I usually don't have one song for my projects but this time I do. Sheriff Durward tells Gable that This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) makes him think of her. This is one of my favorite songs of all time from one of the greatest bands ever. youtu.be/nP8JhOSps_0 #RevPitWaiting

Hi, everyone! I am a writer, voice actor, and cosplayer located in Los Angeles. I love video games and I spend a ton of time volunteering with the Star Wars cosplay group Rebel Legion-- you can usually find me as Leia/Mara Jade. I have two FIV positive cats, and they're both the best. #RevPitWaiting

This is Tommy Lee Jonesy and Harrison Ford Prefect, and they're helping me get ready for my @reviseresub.bsky.social submission this weekend. They're pretty sure we're ready? I guess we'll find out! Good luck to everyone, I had a ton of fun and learned so much last year. #RevPit
