Back at it at the archery range a little more than a week after surgery! I couldn't find my medical cotton gauze so I used some fabric cotton gauze to wrap around my bandages to keep the dust out lol.

Archery forearm guard progress! Now I'm just waiting for a silver cast cedar leaf off of Etsy to improvise into a leather stamp to decorate the edges! Then I'm planning to permanently stitch the upper part and have the lower portion affixed with ties.

So, I've been shooting with my dad's 1961 Turkish Recurve and 1970s/1980s(???) aluminum arrows. I lost a tip yesterday (whoops) so I went to Bass Pro Shop today for a new one. The person I asked for help was baffled to see an arrow like this, and told me I have a "fossil." 😆

The 90s publications were so wild for how many Jedi had red lightsabers, Adi Gallia included! Her Phantom Menace action figure even has a red saber! It wasn't established until later that red is a Sith-only color.

I'm feeling emotional about Joann's closing down and was chatting with someone about how the linen from my Jedi costume came from there and is still going strong on year 13 of wear, even through being washed in hot water repeatedly for Children's Hospital events to make it as sanitary as possible.
