It Ends is one of my favorite movies of the year. Just an independent horror that has an idea and plays with it a bit, while leaving the rest up to the viewer (though shout-out to the IMDB review that thinks it's "typical Hollywood"). A wild first start to Letterboxd's rental service.

Xbox games, in the traditional sense. When you bought a Series X/S you had your 360 library, etc. It's not marketed as a PC device inherently, so when it says "ALL your games" with the Xbox logo... yeah, many of them are available, you have to re-buy, and all that. Just wild caveats they gloss over.

Maaaaaannnn. I love Baby Steps so much, but it's insistence on saving at every microsecond means you can spend 3 hours in the gym and have to throw away your whole run because you got sent through the geometry into the void.

A glitched area in Baby Steps that is primarily black, except for dim moonlight and a street lamp. The terrain is impossible to see.

Now playing: Green Room. It probably says something about me that this is how I unwind, from the content of the movie to the Anton Yelchin story, which is a particular kind of grim-sad, but dammit I love this movie with my whole soul.

Look. I’m not a visual artist, as much as I would love to be, so I’m sure there are plenty of flaws. But when you want to solo dev you gotta learn to do it all. That said, I’m incredibly proud I was able to start from the bottom and end up with something that exactly matches the vibe I wanted.
