It’s me holding up a machete I’m using for a project on the homestead today while wearing a punch more nazis shirt.

The sun is right behind me and the tip of the machete is pointing at it

As much as I’ve played TTRP games online and run games in person at cons it’s actually been a LONG time since I’ve had a regular at home in person game. I got to use all my cool shit from emberglow gaming! #ttrpg

Number of my friends have signed up to alpha and read it. Another friend I gave access to and then we didn’t talk about it until he met me for lunch and brought THIS. He had printed the entire thing and wrote in the margins and stuff and just. I almost cried?

So the news is out. The makers of Gilmoril are going to be publishing my 3 part adventure path for their upcoming TTRPG game. Gilmoril: Technogothic Nightmare is a game I very quickly fell in love with and the adventure that struck me like a bolt of lightning is now going to be published.

Can we get a #MTG flavor text chain? This one will always be funny to me.

It’s the MTG card Ceremonial Guard. It’s a 3/4 with

rules Text
When this creature attacks or blocks, destroy it at end of combat.
Flavor Text
"These guards are the most disciplined military unit in the city. They couldn't fight their way out of a broom closet, but they've got discipline." —Gerrard, to Sisay

It’s a little drawing I did. A main eye, seemingly fixated with terror, is surrounded by floating eyes and toothy grins.

No fucking shit. The democrats who ‘believed’ the republicans were gonna vote to extend them later are fucking morons. Or they did it so that when this happened they could run on it. While people suffer. Either way? Fucking awful.

For real I have literally 0 business cards yet but the rest of my setup for PAX I was really happy with. Even the custom stickers hold the yellow/purple/black/white kinda color aesthetics. Just gotta do a new mother thing with it.

Wren ✨Technogothic 🫯 Nightmare✨ @wrenound.itch.io · 25/11/2025

My first con and it was honestly amazing. I am hooked. 6 tables. 24 hours of games. 5 games. 3 days. All at my first con. I thank every single person who joined any of my games. Every publisher for each game I got to run. And Amoirais for taking a chance on a lil enby in the AP space.

My favorite from around that time that I will never forget.

The magic card ceremonial guard.

It’s flavor text is:

Since the coward blocked me It’s very easy for someone to say ‘it’s cool to vote against your own rights trust me bro’ If this was about eliminating women’s rights would you feel the same way? I wouldn’t support them either. Candidates and parties court voters. It’s their job. Not ours.

The homestead is going great. Garden is blooming. The chickens are growing up and should by the end of August be just 1 whole flock. They are doing great! We also set up a mesh setup so we have a coop camera for the birds that allows us to check in on them.
