The crucial context of this review is that people were leaving bad reviews for this apple tree because there weren't any apples at the time of year when they visited, so I felt the need to defend the tree because real life is not Animal Crossing and fruit trees don't grow fruit year-round

Reflecting on how I think my most meaningful piece of writing was a Google Maps review I wrote about a single apple tree

A google review with a picture of an apple tree that reads as follows:

Trees grow in seasons, as do you. Be patient with both nature and yourself. I visited in late August and the tree was abundant in both apples and color.

So much in this life cost money, but the view of this tree from a publicly accessible walking path is free. Watch your step at the bottom of the hill though, as some of the fruit likes to roll downhill.

I guess it’s hard to say, since we definitely all have our internal struggles, but there have been times that I’ve felt similar things and then winded up feeling reassured and welcomed by the people in those spaces, and other times when the vibe of those spaces reinforced my insecurities

If it’s a “meds were working but not aren’t” situation, I typically try to take a tolerance break with a day off meds every 1-2 weeks But if it’s not that than yeah, finding a level that works well is important, and often that involves increases because doctors will start you low

I’m studying Human-Computer Interaction right now and one of the things I really enjoy about the subfield is that it provides opportunities to grapple with these kinds of questions about how technology affects society (as well as more zoomed-in bits about how we make technology more intuitive)
