If the new heroes are busted, yes. MST was bad. If you weren’t playing MST, you were having a bad time. Everyone had to fight for MST cards. Cost of entry skyrocketed. People quit the game because they couldn’t play their heroes. This is all the inverse of why I said I prefer this meta.

Please, be serious. It was not a good guardian match-up. It was nuking guardians from orbit. Guardians were literally unplayable. 1/9 classes were not viable. There was no guardian representation at events. There are videos on eye of ophidia. This is verifiable.

My objective is to play a game where as many characters as possible are viable. That gives a wide base of characters for players to grow attached to and lowers prices since demand is spread out. That lowers the cost of entry which makes FAB easier to join. Which is all good for the game.

I’m saying if we want to help build affordable housing, we should help build affordable housing. Not give money to speculators who built literally unaffordable housing. You can’t spend the money twice.

I generally like this Government but I’m going to call out bad policy when I see it. Canada’s residential real estate market has captured too much of investor’s capital. We need to reform our tax system to allow industry to compete for investment, not coddle developers further.

There are much better ways to spend that money. Vancouver has the Non-Market Housing Development & Operations team. Their explicit role is to build affordable housing. Give them the money instead of developers. Don’t just give money to rich people.

This is a bad idea. If they are vacant, then they are too expensive for the market to buy. Why would my tax dollars go pay prices that the market won’t bear? Leave them vacant, let the price drop until they are affordable. Anything else is a tax-payer bailout. Don’t give money to rich people.

The amount of voltage that modern GPUs use essentially prohibit data centers without attached power plants. If people use data centers as a combined term to discuss a warehouse of computers and the associated gas turbines, that is reasonable. Not worth yelling into the internet about.

The secondary issue is that new Data Centers need their own power since time to get an interconnection with the grid has grown to years. The power source they select are gas turbines, since they can run 24/7 and relatively easy to get. Gas turbines are basically massive jet engines. F’ing loud.

The difference is the massive load that modern GPUs require versus traditional CPUs. The primary issue with data centers is that they can consume a lot of water for cooling.

More Arakni’s. Arakni Illusionists, Arakni Necromancers, Arakni Wizards and Arakni Runeblades would fill out the classes that have fewer options and add more Arakni’s. Hunted was the best set. Dynasty second. Only useful metric to grade sets is number of Arakni’s.

My sincere hope is AI lowers the technical burden of creating broadly useful Apps and then ownership becomes a basis of competition. E.g. Don’t like Zuckerberg? There is an co-op equivalent of the Meta product suite that you can join. Extra money after keeping the site running goes to charity.

OpenAI has over $1.2 Trillion in commitments over the next 4 years, not counting net 360 invoices that will be on their books later this year. That is basically 2x the amount of cash that the Magnificent 7 has on hand. Now they have 1 less product to grow their revenue to meet their commitments.
