Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Every now and then I relive the delight I felt when I walked past someone watching The Pope's Exorcist on the TV at the exact right moment to see the Dragon Age: Inquisition symbol. My favorite thing in the world are moments that are so silly I begin to question if I'm truly in reality. 000
Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Whenever I hear or see "foid" I get caught in this loop where I'm annoyed that they came up with a word for "female android" when one has already existed for ages, but I am also very glad they didn't ruin "gynoid" for me. 010

Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 24/08/2026The only reason we guessed salon management software is from the logo on his shirt (it just said Fidelity) that we searched afterward and the way he kept mentioning the other salons. I guess we're assuming not insurance, but the software makes more sense in context. 100
Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I wish I'd known that. I would've said something directly then. I did say loudly as he was leaving that usually it's nice to tell people what you're trying to sell them. 100
Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Eventually I did a slow turn in the salon chair like a bond villain and looked him in the eyes. He stammered, said he should go, and finally left. Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 24/08/2026He walked in, no introduction, just started name dropping people at nearby salons as if to prove he was legitimate. Was trying to get a specific time when the owner would be there out of my stylist, which she wouldn't say. He was going to just stay until he got it, I think. 100
Runoff @wouldirunoff.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Had to glare a guy out of the salon during my haircut. He was, I believe, selling salon management software, but he actually refused to answer that directly. This place doesn't take walk-ins so he just entered and came straight to the back room where my hair was getting cut. And wouldn't leave. 110
