My New Favorite Thing is being on a reply-all chain where the main participants are obviously using AI to write. It's basically just Claude talking to itself. Just pages of "That's an excellent suggestion, but let me push back on..." and "your second point is doing a lot of heavy lifting..."

Me going through every story, IM, email, etc. to make sure I’m not overusing em dashes and elipses. I allow one of each per three paragraphs. Too many of the one makes you sound indecisive. Too many of the other makes you look like AI. And I don’t want to look like AI. Maybe… #NotAI

Instead of AI for covers, use: -premades (most are under $100) -use royalty free pictures/art. There are TONS, especially within museum databases that you can use. -Get a shitty cover and upgrade when you have money AI will poison your career forever. Don't do it.
