Revisiting T-shirt ideas that've been shelved for a bit. The first few weeks of this administration have been exhausting, but the creativity is finally starting to re-emerge. #supportlocalmusic #localbands #independentartists #pnwmusic #musiccommunity #portlandmusic #musiciansupport #artsnonprofit

Jumping into designing email templates, this one for Swan Songs Portland, a nonprofit of which I serve on the board. I picked up some of the colors/visuals from our parent org's website: www.swansongs.org #hospice #musicinhospice #artsinhealth #swansongspdx #portlandnonprofit #pdxmusicians #pdxmusic

So that reporter who mocked Zelenskiy over his lack of a suit has posted footage of the exchange on his FB page, and amazingly, has made it public and not turned off commenting. If you're still on FB, find him by searching "Brian Glenn Zelensky" and give him your thoughts, like I just did!

We're having a bit of a snow day here in Portland, so I've taken on a project: Ragù Alla Bolognese. As Julia Child used to say, I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food... www.pastagrammar.com/post/rag%C3%... #italiancooking #pastalover #foodiegram #slowfood #raguallabolognese

The idea of Siddhartha, wealthiest scion in the land, leaving his kingdom for the first time to not only be shocked at the existence of suffering, but resolve to dedicate his life to ending it, takes on a special significance in these times. Nobody will remember these oligarchs 2600 years from now.

Saw a version of this posted by someone called Webvixen with the mustache in the shape of America. Clever idea, but I thought "Nah, that ain't quite right." Working up some newsletter/magazine rebranding ideas for a local climbing organization. The Mazamas were founded in 1894, so their roots in the community run deep. Honored to have this opportunity. #mazamas #portland #mountaineering #climbing #pacificnorthwest #pnw #northwest #graphicdesign #rebrand

Scratching the surface of the tip of the iceberg here, but the video editing project is coming along nicely. Here's 17 seconds of stock pre-wedding footage and stock audio, with transitions, fade ins/outs, etc. #video #videoediting #learningtoedit #videography #premierepro #adobe #bringyourownlaptop

Taking on an interesting project: a ground-up redesign of the newsletter/magazine of the Mazamas, a Portland climbing club that dates from 1894. Their "Bulletin" goes back almost as far. This issue is from August of 1923. #mazamas #portland #mountaineering #climbing #pacificnorthwest #pnw #northwest

Martin Onitveros's work is affably distinctive. Lincoln Design Co's is lazily derivative. This over-bearded agency of flannel bros behind Liquid Death's identity gives off an odious "watch your drinks, ladies" vibe. Fan of the former, not the latter. #graphicdesign #illustration #branding #creatives

Fact checked, and absolutely true. Private insurance companies are not only exploiting us (those who run Medicare provide better coverage at a fraction of the private sector's C-suite salaries and bonuses), but they're also wildly inefficient. Sources cited in comments.
