Great news! California AB 1784 passed the #CASenate and is heading to Gov Newsom’s desk. This bill would provide parental leave & stronger pregnancy-related accommodations for undergraduates, and finally make it illegal to discriminate against students because they’re parents! #CAPolitics
AB 1784 passed! California is a (huge!) step closer to ensuring that all pregnant and parenting postsecondary students have state anti-discrimination protections, parental leave, and meaningful access to pregnancy accommodations. The bill is now heading to Governor Newsom for signature.

Nobody should have to travel 1.5 hours for prenatal care‼️ Trump's Big Ugly Bill has been devastating for maternal health across the U.S since it was passed a year ago. Millions now live hours away from the closest hospital with a maternity unit, with rural communities impacted the hardest.
