Most of you who have worked with me know how hard I try to give homes for pieces that mean a lot to people. How hard we work to make sure we can commission pieces when they've fallen through elsewhere. It's rough out there and we can really only get through this big ol' mess if we help each other <3

So I am watching A Different World 1987 for the first time BUT I watched A Different World 2026 w my older sister (who grew up w the OG show) and she liked the new show a lot. I did too; everytime I was unfamiliar w a character my sister said, "You'll see em later (in the OG show).

I just watched Gilda and enjoyed it a lot. I can see why this particular role of Rita Hayworth's was so influential.

It's been at least 4 years since I played Chicory a Colorful Tale but I still remember certain parts that stuck w me. I didn't notice how the game's big reveal was foreshadowed really early on.

For @gamespot.com, I explored the Ocarina of Time remake's take on Sheik and how early impressions have left me fearful that his androgyny is being left behind. He's a character with nuanced queer history I hope Nintendo is at least slightly in tune with. www.gamespot.com/articles/the...

Nintendo needs to preserve Sheik’s androgyny in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake.

Had the sudden urge to replay Chicory A Colorful Tale so I redownloaded it on Switch. It's still a Zelda-like game, with the bonus of being a giant coloring book.

I've played two other Suikoden games and I may not find every Pokemon in a Pokemon game but I damn will find all 108 recruitable characters in a Suikoden game, 'cause I love the different combo attacks lol

Ugh I think I need a break from Pokemon video games (not counting TCG live b/c that's the trading card game). I think I'll keep playing Link's Awakening but also finally start Suikoden II or some other game.

I had been enjoying the game up until this moment too. Now my enjoyment is ruined; this is just as bad as when I played Hades and I lost months of progress.

I am so mad b/c I had items I brought over from the main storyline, including Reviver Seeds that are hard to stock up on! Now I don't have anything just b/c I quit the game at the wrong moment

I might quit Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. I exited the game right when I died & revived and the game counted that as a "defeat" and I lost all my items and money 😭

Also, I miss going to Pokemon TCG meetups. Different factors (store expansion, social faux pas, losing too much, caregiver stuff) has affected me going. Plan to return once I got all the cards to improve my deck.

Some monoracial Asian folks can be so anti-Black b/c they live in a bubble where only mono-racial Asian folks exists. It's a global issue (& one I've dealt with myself here in the U.S. as a Black-Asian person) and Half is More showed that in one chapter alone.

Have only read the first chapter of Vol. 1 of Half Is More but whew, it was relatable AF.

Image is the cover to Half Is More by Yokio Fujimi. Features a mixed race Japanese girl who is French, Black, and Japanese. Tells the stories of various mixed race people in Japan.
