April 2025 update, although sharing a bit late. Garden is fully built up and starting to show signs of life. Right at the end of the month we got our first egg from the quail! I've been able to pick lettuce and small amounts of kale for meals this month.

March 2025! Amazing progress in just a few weeks! All the garden areas are laid out, most of the soil is spread, and things are planted. We also got our quail so hopefully eggs soon! Excited to spend so much time outside this summer.

As usual, a trip to the greenhouse fixed me. The garden layout is finalized, just in time for it to get warmer! Hopefully the rest of the structural stuff comes this week so I can finish all the building and order a big ol pile of dirt.

I made this the other night while procrastinating, mainly because I thought all the posts about the blackout were boring. It feels like there is momentum bringing people together!

Every year for our valentines dinner, we go to the Millworks for the art and brew crawl. Beer tastings and snacks and art and chatting with local artists. It's such a celebration of this city we live in and I love it.
