Tomorrow marks World Radio Day, first organized by UNESCO in 2011. Working in non-profit community radio, and being a "recovering" graphic designer, I still get to put those old design skills to use. It's a handy skill. It's a pleasure to be able to appreciate your old work, even if its simple.

Whole lot of Conservative MLA's apparently not on side with this, and apparently it's not quite clear what "professionally incapacitated" here means. Their bylaws reference "incapacitation:, but in legal terms, that's generally a specific thing. I'm sure this is going to get even more spicy.

Occasionally when I’m in bed, my cat Gerald gets up to no good. He makes particular noises when this is happening. Tonight, I felt a “disturbance in the Gerald”. Turns out he found a Praying Mantis in the apartment and was rather “puzzled” by it. The mantis was escorted outside away from Gerald.
