I really do just need a little more to help me stay on track, and to push me further. I also, probably, need to start lifting for real again.

further along in sumo at this point. Every time I get better, it's just more flaws in my technique, and my physical strength is terrible, even though I'm so much stronger now than I was when I started. It's not a good feeling. The progress is there, but it feels so incremental, so miniscule.

maintain motivation. As childish as it kind of seems, having a belt progression to work towards rather than the more nebulous competition scene of sumo might help me stay wanting to work and push. My mental is definitely in a worse place right now, and I think part of it is that I was hoping to be

I really don't know what my martial arts journey is going to look like moving forward. When I started sumo, it was just a fun thing to do and a way to get in shape and stay fit. Cross training judo seems like it'll be a really good way to improve my skills, get into better shape, and also

Tattoo acquisition is a slow and steady process for me, but if I could, I would be fully covered. I still have plans for a full back, both legs, and my entire left arm, but who knows

Put down the deposit for the tattoo appointment that I told myself I would get in April today 😊😊😊

I would commit ritual suicide to appease my shame, but I fear it would be one appropriation too far.

Increasingly, I have seen folks who released music through GameChops distance themselves from the label and express a desire to re-distro outside of it. But there's a cost involved in that which many musicians may not be able to cover. So, fuck it, let me put my money where my mouth is.

white text on black background that reads "music re-distribution financial relief fund. since just because a label done borked up that doesn't mean your music should disappear."

white text on black background that reads "what this is: an offer to provide financial aid to help cover the costs involved in re-distribution of tracks outside a label. even if every track is only five bucks to put a track through distro independently, that adds up after an album or so. i'm putting my money where my mouth is and seeding this with $250 to start. if you would like to add to that, my DMs are open - let's chat."

white and other light colored text on black background that reads "what this is not: anything beyond financial aid. I cannot help you clear licensing. I cannot help you secure proper licenses if you need something beyond a basic compulsory mechanical license. I cannot help you re-mix or re-master a track (though I can put you in touch with people who can). I cannot help you get out of any contracts you may have had with a label as far as who owns what."

white text on black background that reads "your music matters. Let's not let label ownership tomfoolery fuck it up. DMs are open."

If you're wondering why there is so much space between us, I was forcing a tsuppari battle here. I did wind up pushing my opponent all the way to his edge, but he managed a lift out at the last minute.
