My March spread is actually ready on time this month ✅ I went with some slightly witchy vibes. All other habit tracking is off the table this month- book 3’s edit deadline is 3/19. I have ten chapters left and final details after family read. Wish me luck 💀

Readers of The Switchboard will recall that Kit wears a very specific hairpin attached to a length of Switchboard audio cable. With today’s package I am one step closer to making it real- even if it will hurt to cut the cable off this vintage headset! #writingcommunity 📚💙🪐

On the eve of book 2’s release and the anniversary of his passing, I’m happy to celebrate Kit’s namesake: Joseph Kittinger 🪂 This man was a true aeronaut, with multiple records for skydiving and ballooning under his belt, but I ‘met’ him during the Red Bull Stratos project. #writingcommunity #💙📚

I finished my November #journalspread early but almost forgot to post it! Taking a quote from Star Rail this month as I write my new sci-fi. I no longer support NaNo, but Nov is still part of my routine. Off to a strong start! #indiewriter #writingcommunity #queerauthor

Today’s the perfect day to introduce you to a new character in book 2 - Happy Diwali, and hello to Fariq on his favorite holiday! He’s the normal mage with no history in the Between next to Henley’s classified file, and he’s just doing his best 🎆 #writingcommunity #indieauthor #queerbooks 💙📚

Going through my old journals today and I stumbled across the beginning and end of The Switchboard. Amazing that my initial notes and title remained consistent through revisions. I also had to add 15k words during edits?! August 26, 2019-February 5, 2020 💙📚👀 #queerwriters #indie #writingcommunity

#FantasyIndiesOctober 10/18: hobbies! I’ve been journaling to stay focused since 2017. Originally I was a straight bullet-journaler, but these days it’s a hybrid bujo/scrapbook. Currently on journal number 12! (October spread sticker by Milky Tomato)
