Unusual dark-berried Crataegus at Kingsbury Water Park in Warwickshire this week. I was on a mission for something else , so didn't think to check for the number of seeds or any other clues. Any ideas? I'm back around that way later in the month, so should be able to pop by and look again

Yay. New solar farm being built next to this railway cutting LWS in a county Durham. Fewer nutrient inputs we thought due to the loss of arable land. Less pleased to see copper being stripped from stolen cables and dumped where grassland restoration is taking place. 😒😒
