Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk:
How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.
![“In a word, it’s grief,” Yakuza/Like A Dragon Wiki “Chairman” Masu told me. “If you’re a longtime fan or even if you can see yourself becoming one, if the series has resonated with you, it’s hard to come to terms with the idea that maybe its driving principle of chivalry is just a power fantasy to be packaged and sold and not a sincerely-held belief. And if you’re a survivor like I am, it’s even harder to lose faith in creators you hoped were in your corner when most of the world isn’t. A lot of us are being forced to close a chapter in our lives [that] we never wanted to close.”](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:fih2jbqfmjrza7yqgbtn5phi/bafkreigs7vvyitkf77yiu4ytu3cghqyojcmfqwajzktyymakgftxmjq434)
