This is random but I think the one time I genuinely took psychic damage was a couple of months ago when I read a comment by someone who thought the SCP wiki was inspired by Control

I may edit this some more later, but think I may be fond of drawing creepy statues. This is going to be a leader portrait for a Civ 4 mod I'm working on that (surprise surprise) is going to be a bunch of evil living statues.

An ominous statue with an ornate crown and four arms (one of which is broken off). It stares blankly at the viewer.

my personal curse is that I get really invested in creating art for personal modding projects of niche games what do you mean my brain has decided it's time to code and make models for Civ4. That game came out 20 years ago.

Moleman sketch. I tried to do something a little different by starting with a basic dark form and filling it in with hard lines before actually doing any painting

Splash art of the Pier Lurker at the pier, waves clashing against the wood, a lighthouse visible in the background.

Something I noticed with Dead by Daylight is that most of my experiences with sweaty and "toxic" players (for me, trashtalking in endgame chat) are when I play on the weekend. I'll sometimes play 5-10 matches during the weekdays after work, and those almost always feel more chill.

Spent the past month kitbashing various Civilization 4 units into models for a 20 year old fantasy mod, Fall from Heaven 2. Amazingly, it still lives on with active development in the form of Ashes of Erebus.

My favorite part of the Backrooms movie was the final scene where the Older Gentleman showed the original 4chan post and thanked us for watching his movie. The migraines and nosebleeds afterwards kind of sucked though

"Chase- no, the Factory- spoke, and Its voice was pollution and waste- not Flesh, no, something far less comprehensible- the sound of a clock being smashed with a hammer, over and over and over and over-" Old fanart of one of my favorite Tales, Variations on a Schema #SCP #SCPFoundation

A figure in a rusting business suit towers over a character wearing a robe with the symbols of the Church of Cogwork Orthodoxy. The figure's face has collapsed, and rising from it is a mass of rusting machinery that lead up to dark factory chimneys.

Portraits of a True Claimant and Villikos. True Claimants are the empty husks that command the legions of the First Claimant. They are the final fate that awaits rulers who align themselves with Villikos.

VILLIKOS, THE FIRST CLAIMANT The path of history has shifted; this world has been claimed. Your rulers are usurpers, your nations false. Lay down your rebellious banners and bow, for Villikos is imminent. #digitalart #fantasyart #monsterart

Digital painting of a large, looming figure over an empty throne. The figure's proportions are off with a long neck and oversized, claw-like hands. It wears a mask and a crown and is draped in the flags of fictional nations.

Working on another mod god for Shadows of Forbidden Gods. Here's a WIP of the title art for him. Currently, I'm going with the name "Villikos, the First Claimant"

A black and white digital painting of a large figure looming over an empty throne. The figure is draped in a robe made of flags and wears a large crown and mask. Its physical features are exaggerated with a long neck and gangly, armored arms. Its hands are like claws.

The best advice to starting indie game development is to start small instead of starting with your ambitious dream game My dream game is an SCP strategy game, so I jokingly thought "I should start small with an AoE-like SCP RTS" Then I spent the afternoon brainstorming how that would work
