he is often criticized for his overly ornate and confusing style but after having taken the time to understand him it acts as a sort of insulation. his run on sentences referencing ten different disciplines to explain a single concept are load-bearing in my mind.

finally making headway on this samuel r. delany novel ive started and not finished at least 3 times in as many years.... the only thing is that its a first print edition from 1966 and i feel like im mangling something sacred the further i get into the book. i feel like it's going to turn to dust....
