Hmmm... California is not a country. It is just a state. The EU deals with nations, not regions within nations. I get annoyed when US states think they deserve to be treated as if they are separate nations. I think what needs to happen is those who think that needs to go back to school!

US just doesn't like the fact that Canada isn't just trading with the US... and thus can easily forced to follow what the US does or be crippled... The US is very upset that Canada is shrugging off the tariffs causing issues, and did retaliation... And is making agreements with others.

It's only the relationship with the US that is suffering. Much of what isn't going to the US is being snapped up by the rest of the world, and often at something which is at fair market price, not the discounted the US got. Many places are sending us products we no longer get from the US!

I was busy yesterday... but did have time at maximum to get a picture of the Eclipse! I didn't spend too much time, as I had been very tired. Nikon D500, 200-500 f/5.6, 1.4TC. 700mm (1050mm 35mm). Aperture Priority with 2 EV bias, with auto ISO, AF & VR on, handheld. 1/20s @ f/8, ISO 25600.

I like to think it's more correct to be 2 years studying and 8 years experience doing work led them to being able to come up with the design and draw it in 10 minutes. Sadly, many companies don't want to pay for the experience these days.

I have been to 2 places, which wanted me to scan a qr code. I refused and asked for a paper menu; one immediately brought it. The other I had to explain how insecure and unsafe QR codes are, and how threat actors are using them for attacks (being an IT professional). Almost walked out from that one

Food safety is no joke... they don't know how you keep it, so they can't take it back. They'll just right them off, as many companies have large amount of food they can't sell... and they destroy. For you, you got 3 steaks to eat! Treat it as a gift from the universe! I wouldn't feel strange.
