The CPR challenge? The ambos are using it as a fundraiser for telethon. It's stupid though, they can't even have a donation box on their stand, so you have to donate via a sort of sponsorship setup.

I got a a lift down, did some CPR stints, helped put some things together, did my morning shift on the event, have got a lift home and have just had the battery replaced. Will take the car for a good run after this to ensure things are properly charged. Not what I expected this morning.

Not what I needed this morning. We have been volunteered to help with a 12hr CPR challenge (ie, do CPU on a dummy for 12hrs straight). Our erstwhile team leader volunteered us for the 6am session. I got up at 5:30am. Who knew that time existed on a Sunday.

And made it home. My 4:30pm flight became a 7:30pm flight earlier in the week, then 8:30pm, then 9:30pm earlier today. We started to board just after 9:30. Got a good tailwind though and were on the ground by 10:45. Then home. Now I get to experience my own bed!

My car takes 95, its fairly easy to find, but 91 and 98 are the two common ones here, 91 is standard unleaded can get it anywhere and just about everywhere would have 98 too. But also apparently our octane ratings are different to yours so who knows?

Well, yes and no. At work we have multiple internet services and three NTDs. I want to know what service is on a port. I figured out last week the port we thought it was on isn't live. We're paying for it, it must go somewhere, I just don't know where.

I've always found that bizaare. I've seen it with some friends who have discovered their trans and there always seems to be one or two people who know them who are "ewww, you've changed, I don't like you now". It's the same person, maybe in a few months in a different package, but the same.

Nah, they're expensive and have an unpronounceable name. A lot of the folks at work have the "If its a cheap tool you can pick up in a local shop, it can't be good" but 99.9% of the stuff we do any decent tool will work.

Found one batch. Some of the people swear by Wiha plyers. I'm not that big a fan of them though. The ones I like have a blue handle. I'm sure that narrows it down.
