Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Me feelings on the Sift being announced is just, "duh". It's like... more or less what I was expecting. Now, Ice Caves, I have wanted ever since we got cave biomes. That's cool! Hope they give us an expanded block palette for calcite and ice, though. 020
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 16/09/2026In that sense, she somewhat aligns with the Order of Mata Nui... 010
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Well, what does it mean to be good or evil exactly? Tuyet's and Nidhiki's betrayals and motives are very different; I think Tuyet believes in authoritarian rule, believing in maintaining order to a point where the ends justify the means, whereas Nidhiki was always just looking out for himself. 210
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 16/09/2026In Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (2005), Max attemps to assassinate Lucario through poisoning. This is because Max has secretly been evil all along. He can't keep getting away with this. 072
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 30/08/2026New reports about the upcoming live-action NINJAGO movie indicates a LEGO SMART Brick has been cast as Zane Julien. We tried to reach the SMART Brick for a comment, but all we got were incomprehensible 8-bit sounds. 183
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Iron First S2 would be so much better if Danny was directed like he was in Luke Cage S2. Instead it feels like he has regressed both in terms of growth and to terrible directing. Danny's weird vibe kinda works in S1's story, but here it only feels poor. 000

Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 29/07/2026I believe Pokémon moving away from Ash is something they have wanted to do for a long time, but been scared to do. Making a second protagonist of equal screentime with Goh, and an episode entirely void of Ash, I think was testing the waters. That episode had me fully convinced Ash was being retired. 000
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Neither does Pokémon, but their initial protagonist is Red, not Ash, and right now they'd want to demonstrate that the anime can work entirely without Ash. I don't think Pokémon likes Ash being associated as their mascot rather than Pikachu - who does remain a central figure in the anime. 110
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 11/07/2026Also, Zamor Sphere 4297033 :) Looks like it is probably Transparent Brown and Bright Yellow? This lines up with my hypothesis that it would match with 8729 Toa Hewkii. Unfortunately, I am out of leads when it comes to 4297032 and 4297035. 010
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 09/07/2026To make it better, the instructions for Hydraxon's legs have the 2x at the end. Maxilos and Gadunka just straight up have you built the same asymmetrical lower leg twice on separate pages. 041
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 09/07/2026All three of the BIONICLE titans/warriors of 2007 have asymmetric feet. (They are actually built the same, problem is, they are not mirrored.) 141
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 05/07/2026It's amazing how they cast Mamoru Miyano as a Gundam pilot just for worldbuilding in a story about an ordinary high school kid. 020
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 23/06/2026The One Ring element is still in use with the same item ID as always. Perhaps it will be phased out in the future? Another thing we managed to confirm is that all Medium Azur parts in the new Maersk set, 40955, are color 491, a reformulation of color 322. 431 to 486 is yet another major ID jump... 050

Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 23/06/2026IDs for the new metalized / chrome LEGO colors! 486 is gold, found in set 43020 released in March. 487 is the equivalent silver color, found in 77260 released this month. No official names for these yet. Supposedly they are using a new manufacturing process. Hope to see them appearing in more sets! 151

Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 08/06/2026"I think Witch Hat Atelier is better than Frieren"... is what I want to say, but they're not even remotely trying to do the same thing. I prefer the far less-derivative fantasy of Witch Hat Atelier, and of course I love serialized mysteries. 020
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 29/05/2026I'd imagine the dark grey head piece on the set is similarly hinting at a Toa head -- it's the only exterior part of the set that is dark grey, implying some conscious choice was made there. 010
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 29/05/2026Another aspect is that Krekka's, Nivawk's, and Nidhiki's body parts as depicted in the movie are supposed to combine to the movie model of Makuta, which may be a further explanation for deviations from the set. 032
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 29/05/2026The whole 2004 "Titan" trio was also part of the Vahki subtheme on LEGO Shop :) ("Titans" was formally introduced in 2005.) Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if both Krekka and Nidhiki were designed as "super Vahki", like what the combiner models ended up serving as. 032

Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 06/05/2026What I mean is, the season makes it clear to me that the power is called Life. I never read the "???" as placeholder for anything specific, but an open-ended "potentially another name?" in the uncertainty of which of the listed four is the "actual" name. 000

Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 16/04/2026As someone who isn't into battling, it was fun for a day and now I don't really care. VP economy seemed easy enough. Battle Passes sound expensive. Frankly, I just want the abilities for Megas to fill out a spreadsheet. 020
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 15/04/2026At this point, Brand New Day might be the last Marbel movie I watch. 130
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 11/04/2026I also haven't heard much talk about it. Personally I'm probably on the negative side on this one, but I don't hate the show either. I just feel like not a lot happened in it, it doesn't really get going and then it ends abruptly. 010
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 03/04/2026I see the XY, but I also thing Darkrai's resemblance to AZ is not a coincidence either. 000
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 27/03/2026Loved that the twist of Thunderbolts* became the sole focus of the marketting campaign after the premiere... because god forbid you watch a movie the week after the premiere weekend. 000
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 27/03/2026I'm confused why people expected it to. Who is actually battling with a Staryu? A few make sense. They have Pikachu, I'm betting Eevee, Scyther, maybe Meowth, Metapod, and Duraludon too. They said from the start it wouldn't have all Pokémon, ofc the first to get cut are the ones no one would use. 000
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 16/03/2026I assume whether you watched the Johto anime growing up or not is a huge factor here. Personally, anything between Charizard Chills and Advance was a giant gap for me. 000
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 24/02/2026Been a hot minute since I touched the games extensively, but the SV issue is that every animation and dialogue is in a sequence, so for Burn, for example, you'll have the burn animation, then the HP bar animation, and after that the dialogue "was hurt by burn". These could occur overlappingly. 020
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 24/02/2026In FRLG, the HP bar decreases at a constant rate, this means 1 dmg and the full HP bar take significantly different time. In modern games, the rate is proportional to damage dealt, meaning a 1-hit KO drains quickly, which not only doesn't waste your time but also illustrates the severity of the hit. 140
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 24/02/2026Watching someone play FRLG and seeing how slow the HP bar moves ... The most agonizing thing for me about SV is that the battle screens take too long (for some reason slower than prior games), I'm not sure I can handle Gen III. 130
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 22/02/2026I think you need to work on being more polite to fellow fans. 100
Wolk @wolksite.bsky.social · 22/02/2026I'm with you in that the question is phrased as a hypothetical, although I think in context, it can be interpreted that Doc intended to answer latter. But ultimately only Doc can clear that up definitively. 100
