...this was a fun meme. :D The Robocraft I liked is long gone, and the TrackMania that formed me was before their stupid 'medal unlock' system was added that cut off access to many tracks for me. I had Nadeo medals on all the endurance courses then poof... can't play those without golds everywhere.

4) Free Enterpri$e
5) HR2 (by Artdink, the original programming-idler game IMHO)

Me for the last six months: I'm so sick and tired of these useless 'statues' masquerading as popcorn buckets. Popcorn horse sheath. Popcorn drivers seat in a tiny car. What's next, popcorn flip-top tennis balls? Gimme the Fast/Furious 25th one again! Capcom: Hold my beer… I mean wear your popcorn.

Two photos showing the 2026 Street Fighter movie's custom popcorn bucket 'hat' in the shape of guile's iconic and expansive flat-top haircut, worn by the actor for Cody in the film and easily holding an enormous amount of popcorn.

Multi-color caption along the bottom reads: "The 'Street Fighter' popcorn bucket is Guile's hair!"

...fun fact, good cave map tools can be coaxed into generating really nice forest maps too. :3 Images from Watabou's Procgen Arcana tools, they've been releasing this stuff since back in 2017 so while you can't hand-edit things generally the tools are incredibly well built and polished these days.

I love how it just goes "Okay, you're definitely NOT from New England, but otherwise... I have no idea!?" My "most like me" is only 49%, and my "least like me" is still 38% rating, and this mostly tracks with where I've lived during my life. I pick up local grammar like loose change on the ground.

MyDialect.us test results USA map showing Denver, Kansas City, and Oklahoma City all equally 'most like you' with New York, Boston, and Portland (Maine) as the 'least like you' cities, with the vast majority of the USA shaded deeply towards the 'very like you' shades except for the New England region.

This was the moment at Stage Flight I just... stopped. Stone cold, awe-struck, and lost myself for quite a moment.

So I got a sketchpage of expressions from @fosbat.art exactly two ago in August of 2024 and 2026 of my zappy-cat Monsoon, and this year I got an updated one since their style has evolved a lot in two years. I especially love both of the side-poses, the FEESHMONCH and FRIENDMOFF are both great!

A page of sketches of Monsoon, a margay with an extra-long impossibly fluffy tail, dull glowing orange eyes, dark blue fur, and bright cyan geometric markings in chaotic swirl patterns.

One sketch has them lounging while looking over their shoulder, with three headshots showing an intense glare, ecstatic glee, and the last one smiling happily with a big fat fluffy moth perching on their nose, ears perked up attentively at the friendly looking moth.

...so I lack a true dragon with a reference, but I have someone else with an appropriately sized snoot and big shapes and some fun colors, so here's Fluorite! Artwork by hanmonster.bsky.social (first and last), fosbat.art (comfy expression sheet), and greekceltic.bsky.social (fancy outdoors outfit)

Reference sheet of Fluorite, a hybrid snow leopard / giant anteater in a chaotic cyan/magenta palette with bright yellow eyes.

Expression sheet of Fluorite, a hybrid snow leopard / giant anteater in a chaotic cyan/magenta palette with bright yellow eyes; the sheet has three random expressions showing his face and mouth, with the full-body having them crouched in a casual pose wearing comfy sweatpants and a loose hoodie.

Portrait of Fluorite, a hybrid snow leopard / giant anteater in a chaotic cyan/magenta palette with bright yellow eyes, wearing a fancy 'fantasy arabia' inspired outfit in pale beigh and bright yellows.

Two anthro characters in fancy 'met gala' level flamboyant outfits in mid-turn on a strongly lit catwalk at a fashion show.

One of them is a mostly normal-colored numbat with sparkling moted in their fur and a subtle purple 'galaxy' coloration to their fur across their sides/back/thighs, wearing a brilliant feathery outfit with small billowing 'wing cape' behind them and a skirt of feathers over a belly-dancer inspired outfit. Numerous pieces of rosewood and metal jewelry are draped all over them.

The other character is a mashup between a giant anteater and a snow leopard in a brilliant mixture of cyan and magenta colors mostly with dark blue-black markings. They are wearing a large leather 'train' over their tail with metal spikes going up the train and their back, spreading out into skeletal wing shapes each ending in medusa-like snake heads, and punctuated in a pair of golden 'horns' on their headdress.

I might have a different view than most because I've always been a fan of artists working from custom references and mixed tools to get to a final result, like Alex Ross as the canonical example. Side by side I'd have a hard time proving some of paintings weren't traced at first.
