Working on Santa ornaments today, well, this week. #weaving #fiberart

Handwoven Santa ornaments in 3 different skin tones, in varying stages of completion, on a white table.

Deep red, chocolate, sienna, bone and white yarn, both in ornaments form and stacks of squares to be made into ornaments. Orange handled acissors, a couple needles, and a bit of poly fil all sit in front of a wood tray on the left and plastic totes on the right, top background.

Mere seconds before Leo sniffed Mayhem, causing Mayhem to rear back in shock, hissing & then running off, he was eolling on the table, attacking Leo's back, tail, head... Cat, you instigated the sniffing. If you didn't want Leo to try to play, you shouldn't have started it. #cats #dogs

Working on Yule tree pins today. Yes, it's September, but I have a show in November and these sell very well there. #fiberart #weaving

What do you mean 'unlikely here today'? The Canadian Geese woke me up going overhead enroute to the ponds & I'm literally looking at House Finches on the tray feeder right now. House Finches are here year round, & the geese raise a family on the ponds every year. 'Not likely in my area' 😆 #birds

Ok, yup, this was delicious, even with the substitute of Worcestershire sauce for soy sauce (because the soy sauce vanished from my house) & Serranos for Thai chiles because that's what I'm growing. Doesn't look like the photo, but nothing ever does.😆 Good to go for gaming night next month.

We got so much tasty, tasty local goods. And a really cool handmade table from some artisan crafter friends for our front porch.

A raw wood slab on metal base table sits framed by 2 wicker style chairs, each with 2 pillows- birds and floral/leaves on them, under a dark blue compass rose metal sculpture on a white aluminum sided, cement floored porch.

There are 2 small plants on the table- tradescantia cuttings on left and a Christmas cactus on right, with a teal fly swatter for killing Lanternfly in front of them.

Edges of windows can be seen on either side.
