This was WLCA in 2014. We worked with Craig Street Cats and Darcy’s ARC to get them vet care and adopted. It was another north end block that had become unmanageable. This is why we do TNR and help people get their cats spayed and neutered.

Busy fall for WLCA! Four feral kittens, their mama and a feral youngster from another female are now safely in foster care. There are six more cats to go - all from one north end block. They will be going to a new, protected sanctuary where they can live safely and happily together. 1/2 #winnipeg

-37 tonight. I hope the three 6 month old ferals and the other community cats in my managed areas make it. I put out a new winter shelter for them and hope they can get into the boarded up house they hang out around. feeling shitty for animals in the US winter storm, too. Nature is cruel.
