With Man City having a 100% record in the Premier League this season, it would almost be the perfect time to kick them out of the league. Nobody complaining that one team lost to them, but another drew, etc. Just wipe all results/goal difference involving them. 19 team league, 2 relegation spots. 👍🏻

I expect Man City fans now have to revert their list of club heroes back to Shaun Goater, Paul Dickov and Georgi Kinkladze.

#avfc don't play again until the 10th of October, but then have 7 games before the end of Halloween. 5 of those at home, so hopefully Fortress Villa Park begins its rebuild in more ways than one.

From watching the Villa training video today: 1) Ruggeri looks very composed with either foot. 2) Garnacho's hair-cut. He doesn't help himself, does he. 3) When we eventually get Mbaye and Manzambi in the team together, it could be very exciting.

Jackson has some good ability on the ball. That one where he got the ball and beat 2 men and then laid it off, there's no way Ollie could do that. I was very pleased to see him get his goal. Probably more than he was by the look of it. Gomes looking like pre season Gomes again.

I always think Ben White looks like a camp pirate.

And I've still never seen one else play the game like Grealish. Kvaratskhelia probably the closest. Just the control, seems to glide across the pitch and the weight of the pass. Glorious.

Looking at the #avfc squad for last week. Lynch, Burrowes and Rowe will come out of there, but the following needs to come in: Wan-Bissaka, Harwood-Bellis, Goretzka, Onana (next year), Jackson, Manzambi, Madjo and Mbaye (hopefully) When we have a fully fit squad, there's some big decisions to make.
