Just installed my first set of EMGs into my Harley Benton explorer :0 The speed knobs vs the chrome domes it came with make it look a lot nicer too.

Doing what I can to use the candle without it completely melting down and flooding the dish, lol. Gonna recycle the lost wax into a new candle to burn, but going forward I probably should stick to purpose made pillar candles.

3 wick scented candle removed from its jar, heavily deformed and melted away, with only a single wick exposed and lit currently. Wax is dripping down the sides of the holder, pooled and solidified in the dish below

How do you normally sleep? I belly sleep, laying my head on the side. I found I had to use my arm to cup around my head, avoiding the ear, to avoid the pressure, typically with the actual pillow between my arm and head. Got my septum same day, and it actually healed faster than my lobe piercings

Thanks ^-^; Fwiw, I don't use the regular zippo inserts due to how quickly the lighter fluid evaporates from them. The soft flame butane zippo insert you can kinda think of being like a fancy bic lighter, where it contains pressurized butane as fuel

Got it working even better by removing the flint, stretching out the spring that pushes it up, using a wire brush to clean off the striker wheel, and stacking the old flint + the new flint when reinserting it. Greater pressure on the flint + clean striker wheel upped spark and ignition reliability.

Well, I feel silly. I didn't originally try replacing the flint, because there was still some of the original left, and I could see it creating spark. Regardless, tried swapping out with flint from an unused insert, and, while not 100% of the time, it lights significantly more reliably now.

I have tried purging and refilling my carry lighter so many times, and I still can't get it to light reliably (like, rarely lights at all), and Idk what to do at this point :/ It's a Zippo brand butane soft flame insert, if anyone has advice.
