S2, E8: Glimpse of Imladris The vale revealed at the finale's end is where Imladris will be built. In the books, Elrond is able to escape because of backup from the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm. We'll have to see how relations mend in Season 3. Thank you for following this Master Thread for Season 2!

S2, E6: Final detail that tickles me: Annatar's hair has shifted in this episode to being styled in a bow. Even the actors mentioned this in their interviews! It's hilarious that Annatar ("Lord of Gifts") would style his hair like he's literally the gift in this situation. Bonus: Statue of Fëanor!

S2, E6: More exceptional manipulation by Annatar. He's now regent for Celebrimbor, handling affairs of state. Pretty lore-accurate, since Annatar spent 300 years there. We also see him get up to some proper mindfuckery like in the Season 1 finale. Blood magic that takes more effort on his part.
