I don't like touch screens, especially for typing. But I wonder: Would a phone with the following physical buttons be more usable: Back, Home, Enter, Arrow Keys. You know, a little control pad in a corner. Maybe even a click wheel? Something tactile.

I have recently been catching up on shows where a new season had released but I didn't have time to watch. While I dislike how long post production for TV is these days, the visuals of both Shadow & Bone and The Sandman are absolutely stunning. Sometimes I pause the episode just to admire it.

Watched Short Circuit (1986) for the first time last night. Hadn't heard of it before, went purely based on the description on Prime Video. Fantastic movie! We need more like this in modern times. Now to buy a Johnny 5 figure and look for more fun 80's movies.

bonus: if the ban actually blocked young people, they'd instead move to less-regulated platforms which is even more dangerous and unhealthy. And then they're less likely to report bad behaviour or talk to parents about it.

In terms of social media ban: (if you're serious) - an age ban doesn't work, they're easy to get around and don't actually solve the problem - algorithms are the problem, and they're the problem for all ages. they should be regulated, maybe even opt-in - collecting age/id data is bad for privacy

I think shallowness is a big reason. It could be something super simple like more dexterity, due to less bulky hands? But the biggest reason could be "we are made in God's image" so that they maintain a following? Or Unas hosts got harder to find outside of that one planet? Or just less prosthetics

I *really* miss the old format of the trailers. They were just the epitome of hype and excitement. Now they just tick a couple of boxes. Here's the new hero doing things you already saw them do in the Hero Trailer, Here are a couple of skins that cost a lot of money. And maybe a collab teaser.

Hmm, as in they don't show up in Tools -> Plugin Manager? Next step would be checking the log file to see if it detected the files correctly, and if it did why they didn't load. Could be that they're incompatible with 32.2 but would work fine in 32.1, for example.

OK, yep, you used the build instructions rather than a release. Click on either of the two links you sent, then click "Releases" on the right side. For spout2pw it contains a .sh which I assume will install it. Or just copy over the .so file into obs-plugins. For pwvideo, you can use the .deb

You are, unfortunately, entirely correct. Maybe when they first built Atlantis, before it was in the Pegasus galaxy? We see it take off from Antarctica at the start of SGA's pilot. Follow-up question for the Nox - the forest Nox or the ones in the floating city?

The global hotkey system doesn't give the app (OBS) that much control. The app just says "here are my assignable hotkeys", the DE does the rest. Some will allow conflicts, others won't. And any kind of saving/loading existing isn't part of the spec.

Should OBS unregister global hotkeys when you switch Profile/Scene Collection, or should your hotkey list in your DE's Settings contain all hotkeys from all Profiles/Scene Collections all together? What about when they don't allow conflicting/matching shortcuts?

Likely not any time soon. The Wayland implementation is just not good enough, unless you want to have to manually set all your hotkeys from scratch every single time you switch Profile or Scene Collection.

Stargate has great potential. Martin Gero's show should be the focus for the short term, but in the same way SG-1 and Atlantis ran at the same time, imagine what other shows or movies could be made alongside it. #SaveStargate
