I know models are becoming more efficient but I’m gonna go out on a limb and say a smart oven, fridge or tv doesn’t have the GPU or compute power for this type of thing to become a serious threat. This seems like postering for their IPO and like a marketing strategy.

Libby and Hoopla both have books and audio books. Hoopla also has graphic novels and trade paperbacks of comics. Kanopy is like streaming video rentals, you get a certain amount of credits per month to check things out. And your library itself may have DVDs, video games, and all kinds of things.

If you have thousands of Fridges to monitor its easier to have some central monitor station monitoring all your temps so you dont loose millions in spoiled foods. IOT has its place, but you have to think about how to protect it also. I would say theirs no need to have mass defrost available.

This weekend was another reminder that folks do not realize they have a right to ALL of their medical records. Providers were required to provide API/digital access a few years ago. Go get your records! Get your family to pull their's! You don't know how helpful it is when/if something happens!
