Sadly, the 2nd point I learned that sometimes they only want you around for your abilities that they can't manage themselves. They only see you as a battery for their purposes without ever caring if you want to be that. Thus, I shy away from groups. Those lessons were painful & I won't repeat them.

We've had almost 24 hours of rain from the hurricane off California. All, and I mean literally all, the birds are sounding off at the same time. Even the crows. It's eerie. They are all pausing at the same time too. Except the crows. It is the pauses that made me really notice. Something's up.

Large, blue, #Origami rose. This is actually a new #Witch tool I've just made. Blue roses aren't technically possible. We get close but never fully there. In folklore, the blue rose was a quest, an attempt to find the impossible. I've made this, with runes in the inside petals as a tool for focus.

Provisioning for #Wasteland: 34 baked eggs. Basically, eggs cooked in the oven, directly on the wire racks. You load the eggs, then put the oven @ 325° for 30 minutes. This includes the preheat time. Use tongs to remove immediately into an ice water bath. We'll be having these for the 5 days. 🐓❤️😁

I started September at 230.5 lbs. 3 weeks of hyperfocus where my body forgot to yell at me about being hungry... plus working on physically demanding projects (heh, with my hands while sitting!) isn't how I expected this.

Today's pocket pouch. So far. Another pain in the ass to work with. It's a stretchy fabric that mimics the appearance of denim. One I started stabbing it with a threaded needle, it became very obvious. Still, it's pretty! #Wasteland

My suspicion: 🤔 Conservative Christian Nationalists like Arthurian stories because they're hyper-masculine through battles, fights, authority, so forth. It tends to downplay women & implies magic is usually evil or adjacent. Plus Holy Grail tales connecting nicely to Christianity. 🤷‍♂️

Managed to complete a 2nd pocket pouch today. This one has a watch pocket on the inside, a smaller front pocket as well. Took that one from toddler Levi's. #Wasteland

Today's pocket pouch... so far. I cut the front embroidery off a baseball cap. These particular pockets are from a pair of my own jeans I found buried on my closet shelf with the crotch completely worn through. 🤷‍♂️ (Only a #Gay man would understand why I kept them...) #Wasteland
