One of these days, I'm gonna look up a supposed author account to see if they're legit for following them back, & their Amazon page or official website's contact page will actually have a link to their account! ONE DAY!

You writing this book is the only reason I'll get pulled into this whole franchise! I'd better start growing an even thicker skin to be able to ignore whatever BS the internet trolls are going to rage about when it comes out! P.S. I'm loving Nine Goblins audiobook, listened to it a dozen times!

Why haven't I followed you back: No clear way to verify the account that followed me actually belongs to the author it claims to be. Please make sure to list all your social media on your official website or linktr.ee (free), KDP Amazon page, Goodreads official page, or your book's copyright page.

No denying that Karl Urban is the hottest. But maybe he can play the wombat MC in the live-action adaptation one day!

Hypocrisy of using voluptuous girls in your book covers, arts, & ads, yet judging me for finally being comfortable in my skin!

So, I feel bad about bothering you ( @tkingfisher.com ), but I was just wondering how to send you the digital copy of Killer Quill. I highly appreciate and look forward to your response. Sorry for annoying you with this.

Killer Quill: V. E. Schwab meets T. Kingfisher & they don't talk about me because they have more important things to do😁 I wish to take @tkingfisher.com up on her offer to let me send her my debut assassin fantasy, Killer Quill. But now I can't make it to the only European event she's attending😢

Indeed! I once paid about £ 10 for a latte, unaware that the VAT & outrageous surcharges weren't included in the price listed on the menu! It burned!😆

A standalone adult fantasy novel (Ownvoices, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disability, Neurodivergence) completed at 94K words, inspired partially by a 10th-century book of legends from my BIPOC roots, is traveling to your inboxes from the query trenches!

An engineer, a dragon hoarding romance novels, and a dysfunctional family of ancient gods fight over the inheritance fated to the one who wants it the least. #unhingedpit #F #Q

A cute, red, crochet dragon wearing a helmet, with the word "writer" embroidered on it, and holding a book open. This is the dragon alter ego of my MC & me! In each photo, I'm posing with her while she tells me something shocking!

Happy birthday 🍾 I wish all the best and many fantastic years to come! It's a shame they don't give 50 under 50 to writers instead of some money-grabbing CEOs!

Moodboard:
Dark fantasy Victorian vibes with purple color composition.
Top row, left-to-right: a Byronic handsome man in black, a palace, a dark figure burning in hellfire, a masked female assassin of dark complexion holding a dagger, a serpentine forest trail at night marked with red flowers.
At the center, next to a silver plume, is the text: “This world, my dear, is the slaughterhouse of noble ideals.”
Bottom row, left-to-right: a dark gaslit street, a gaslit city blanketed in coal smog at night, a young woman in a Victorian gown, wrought-iron gates opened to a foreboding foggy estate in the dark, a trail of red petals leading to a dark stone temple gate.

A gaunt mouse snatched bread crumbs from my lunch tray. I did not have the heart to give her a name, afraid I might lose her, too.
The lingering scent of mud and mildew hung in the air, a long-forgotten tomb. Through the thin mattress, the bed’s cast-iron rods dug into my ribs. I clenched my jaw to keep my teeth from chattering and pulled the threadbare blanket tighter around my body, hugging my knees to my chest. It did little against the chill creeping into my bones. The raging blizzard had transformed the courtyard into a churning white sea, rattling the broken window shutters hanging askew.
I was not allowed visitors or to set foot outside. My only reminder of life beyond these walls was the peeling wallpaper’s faded floral pattern. The medications I was forced to swallow left a cotton taste in my mouth and a dull ache in my skull.
