When listing Target Corp‘s many failures over the last 2 years, please don’t forget that here in Minnesota, home to their effin’ HQ, they allowed 🧊 to hunt their own employees in their stores and stage their terror attacks on the surrounding neighborhoods from Target parking lots.😡

Turns out Ko-fi is blatantly allowing bots with galleries full of GAI, specifically says not to report them unless there's specific illicit depictions (the same guidelines actual art has to follow basically.) Anyone care to put a word in with me? ko-fi.com/survey

Ahhh okay. I’m newer to souls games, I only have a switch 1. But I’ve played a bit of Elden ring and DS3 on PC. I love horror co-op, otherwise I play a lot of story based games or cozy games solo. I have other things too though

110

wishcandy @wishcandy.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

There might be some games that are cross platform but it depends on if we both have themmm. The switch games I have for online are basically just Splatoon 3 and Animal Crossing I think.

I usually disable the time automatic at updating on the switch. Then manually change the time before I play AC. And also set the town ordinance to have everything be open later. I’ve got a circadian rhythm issue and it helps

😴😴😴 I wonder how many folks have exhaustion symptoms and are zinesters. I got a few ailments added to my list, but ME/ CFS is the latest. It’s an extreme fatigue and chronic pain illness (they suspect it’s autoimmune and I probably got it from getting mono in college lol)

As a former library employee, even simply moving the books to another area of the book, and the shelvers taking them back to be scanned and reshelved! That counts too! It counts as eyes/hands on the book and needs/uses of said book

Oh this is a really important win. So you know people who use AI generated images and then copy that as a physical painting? This means that as it has no copyright protection (because AI does not), if it's too similar to the existing art AI ripped off, it is easier to fight back legally.

A screenshot from Threads user @Zemotion

I won. I won my appeal.

The Luxembourg court has ruled that Jeff Dieschburg infringed upon my copyright when he used my work without consent.

Using a different medium was irrelevant. My work being 'available online' was irrelevant. Consent was necessary. 1/

If you can’t grab them up front, maybe you can ask if they’d consider a payment plan? Not sure if it’ll cost them a lot to dispose of them, so maybe they’ll consider it. Some profit vs them paying to pulp

Don’t get me wrong, I love making art. It’s just a lot and kinda depressing these days. Especially in a place like Portland where it’s majority ⚪️, 3 or 4 types of art succeed and I don’t fit within that.

Tabling at events is kinda depressing these days. People don’t have spare income. And as a disabled artist, I rely on my creativity to try and make ends meet. It’s hard to keep a “normal” job, I’ll get praise from bosses for being the best employee. But then not given grace for my health needs

I honestly can’t remember. Dandelion wanted to see what the fuss was about, I started rewatching it with them. It’s their first time watch. We haven’t gotten far yet, we’re bored. I keep telling people about folks in their 70s-80s getting their first major gallery shows. And bigger collectors, seemingly having a good time. It’s never too late and things can get a lot better if we don’t give up. I blew up in my early to mid 20s, in my mid 30s now & feel that was just a warm up

Mathematician & NASA 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳 Katherine Johnson died #OTD in 2020. She was instrumental in the success of the first US manned spaceflights, calculating complex trajectories enabling humans to reach orbit & land on the moon. Her story was told in 𝘏𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘍𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 (book/movie). #WomenInSTEM #BHM

A split-image portrait of Katherine Johnson, the pioneering Black NASA mathematician: On the left, a black-and-white historical photo from her NASA career in the 1960s shows a smiling middle-aged woman wearing cat-eye glasses and a light-colored dress with white collar and trim, seated at her desk with a globe and papers in the background. On the right, a color photo from 2015 depicts an elderly Katherine Johnson (in her late 90s) seated in a wheelchair during the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony, wearing glasses, a dark suit jacket, an orange top, a blue ribbon with the medal, and holding a green item in her lap, as she looks directly at the viewer with a gentle expression. The side-by-side images contrast her youthful professional life with her honored later years.
