Late posting because graveyard shift sucks(!!) but here is my contribution to the #natureconnectedness zine put on by @d2artevents.bsky.social! They say the pall stillness of the Ishtar Sink still holds a gentle susurrus of lament from fallen remains long forgotten. #Destiny2Art #Destiny2

A digital painting of the Ishtar Sink from Destiny 2. The piece depicts the fallen ruins of the once-great civilization, now overtaken by the terraformed landscape of Venus. In the foreground, the skull of an Ahamkara lays on the ground surrounded by the vermillion Asphodel flowers of the Black Garden.

I got to participate in the spring zine in the D2AE server! Went for a solo piece for my first one, and it's my hunter Rhyme with his little greenhouse of toxic plants he keeps up all year, including during those early spring freezing rainstorms @d2artevents.bsky.social #natureconnectedness

A zoomed in shot of a black and white Exo from Destiny 2, standing in a garden workshop, holding a pot of Lilies of the Valley, while freezing rain occurs outside.

Same as before, but now zoomed out to show more of the workshop, showing more plants like water hemlock, wolfsbane, poison ivy, white hellebore, and wisteria

Salvage run interrupted by a rainstorm. done for the @d2artevents.bsky.social Nature Connectedness Zine

Digital painting of three figures in an overgrown city. The central two are a large alien with four arms and a human carrying a gun. The alien's hand is outstretched to catch the rain. The human is looking up. The third figure, an alien in the close foreground, has no discernible reaction. Behind them, a few ruined buildings and a spacecraft can be seen. In the far distance, a mountainous shape looms, one side jagged, the other a perfectly smooth curve. Lightning flickers in its shadow.

My exchange piece to @montybird for the @d2artevents.bsky.social #natureconnectedness event! This is the 2nd time Ive gotten to draw Myst'arc & she's a joy every time; this design is peak! ♡ #Destiny2Art #ScintHArt #D2OC #PlantArt #zineart #DestinyArt

Image shows Destiny 2 fanart with the O.C. character named "Myst'arc" as she finds flowers in mint green and deep gold infected Vex territory. She has gray skin with dark colored clothes of black, deep blues, and purples along with purple hair and transparent black sleeves complimented by a transparent black skirt. She's seen kneeling and looking around the edges of green stone to reach around them and gently touch the flower petals of wood sorrel flowers with the pointy tips of her prosthetic splicer hand as a smile graces her face. The top, bottom, and right side of the image are framed in gold looping lines that stray into stiff rigid criss cross lines like that of the vex structures as that area also deepens the gold to a more Vex type. In the top and bottom right corners are additional bushes of wood sorrel flowers. The gold lines and the bushes are outlined in thick black edges separating them from the rest of the image. The artist's watermark and name, "scintillant-h", is at the bottom of the image with the extra statements of "Human Artist; no A.I.", as well as "bi, pan, or demi does not equal straight couple" & "my queer isnt your hetero explanation."

Cover art for the @d2artevents Spring Zine: Nature Connectedness, featuring a pair of Awoken hands holding open a book with the title on the page and a drawing of plants.

Image of text:
Drifter pulled his hands away from Eris' and selected a different, nearby stalk. It was long and worm-like with a glowing tip shaped almost like a finger. He snapped it off half-way up and held up the broken end. It dripped glowing white sap.

"If the plants are singin' to ya, maybe the sap inside of 'em is carryin' their song?"

Eris' lips formed a small smile as she looked at him. "Perspicacious creature!"

"Don't you cuss at me!"

My solo piece for the @d2artevents.bsky.social #natureconnectedness event! I wasnt sure how the symbolism would carry tbh but it pulled through in the end! 😊💫 "Will You Desaturate With Me?" #Destiny2Art #ScintHArt #Crow #Felwinter #Helhest #PlantArt #DestinyArt

Image shows Destiny 2 fanart with the characters Helhest, Crow, and Felwinter all leaping forward prepared for a scuffle as the colors fuzz away into black and white. The half lush green plants around them which are all cut into tended shapes, have become half gray with splotches of white. By the lay of the land and color saturation the grays are spreading from left to right as the characters rush towards the left to fight the grays. Helhest is formost, with the bow Trinity Ghoul in one hand and an arrow in the other. Felwinter is immediately behind her jumping through the bushes with his shotgun ready. Crow is above and slightly behind them both as he connects to the golden light path of a glowing gold falcon that blazes its bright yellows across the image and into the gray zone ahead of them. The top and bottom of the image are strewn in golden linework that has thick black edges to them. At the bottom the gold lines connect to a bush of flower comprised of pink Lady's Slippers, red Dahlias, red lilies, and red fuchsia flowers, which are also outlined in the protective black edges that keep them from being desaturated. The characters can be seen in black and white with even their blacks being speckled away by the white splotches coming from the left. The only color on them is the very far right tip of Felwinter's golden warlock bond while the rest of the bond is gold. The artist's watermark and name, "scintillant-h", is at the bottom of the image with the extra statements of "Human Artist; no A.I.", as well as "bi, pan, or demi does not equal straight couple" & "my queer isnt your hetero explanation."
