“Liliuo! Liliuo!”
The crowd chanted this name repeatedly, reverberating their voices across the Stadium of Sacred Flame like a spreading wildfire; the
anticipation accumulating down in the center, too, steadily ramped up with heat.
Kinich stood shoulder to shoulder with his fellow countrymen in the bleachers, arms crossed and weight shifted to one foot, observing the fighters about to go head-to-head intently.
Liliuo, a veteran warrior from the People of the Springs—a familiar face at the Pilgrimage and on the frontlines.
The other, a young woman around his age, he’d guess. A member of the Scions of the Canopy, and a frequent finalist as of late. “Malipo” Mualani.
Without hesitation, Mualani struck first. Her hand reared back, Dendro adorning her fist in the shape of a snake’s open jaws, venom glands plump and long fangs ready to strike. Liliuo raised her Cryocrystal Cannon, catching the first fist and then the other on the weapon’s side.

Humans are born small; tiny little things that are often bald and maybe a little ugly. Fae are the same, even those who are not born with flesh and blood. Still tiny, still green to the world—a little ugly.

Yet, no matter the species, the formative years in between opening one’s eyes to life for the very first time and growing into an adult who marches towards inevitable death, may just birth connections to other ugly little things that transcend time itself, making the world they live in utterly beautiful.

These two new artificial beings at Lumine's side. He warned her. And now that they've been left behind, Wanderer is furious.

But when no one can seem to find Lumine in all of Teyvat, the love, the anger, the dread that muddle together inside his head like a dark lightning cloud influences his actions. He will return her home--at the cost of himself. He never imagined his past would resurface so much as well.

In the end, they're all just trying to be human.

It's a day that starts off with a secret unsaid,
And ends with it finally being voiced.

He didn't realize everything in between, however, would be filled with so much—human emotion.

How could someone laugh and cry on the same day? How does that make any sense?

Cyno doesn't remember his childhood at the Temple of Silence, but what he can never seem to forget is, as he laid on the soft grass where sand was supposed to be, are the tall and wobbly pair of ears peeking through the long flower stalks and coming ever closer.

He thought the Ley Lines were the answer, but maybe all he needed was to wake up from the dreams, and look at reality.
