Sega has betrayed their loyal fans. His name was "Sonic" and now in an act of spite, he's been renamed to "McLaren Racing". They've officially gone too fucking far. I will no longer be buying products in the "McLaren Racing The Hedgegog" series.

Since everybody seems to think this is an ai failing to recreate the game Ryu, it’s pretty obvious that this is meant to be Ryu from the new Street Fighter Movie It’s not a great looking skin, and could even still be Ai, but it’s pretty obviously meant to be movie Ryu

WinterSound @wintersound.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I just assumed it was based on the new movie tbh

In this case ai generated doesn’t mean a fanbase that uses ai it’s mostly a meaningless insult and probably just picked 2 names out of random for harmless ragebait

I think calling it a net negative is definitely an overcorrection personally, I think there’s too much nuance to say whether a game is better or worse with lots of unintended functions I think the best games find these unintended things and reward them though, like Metroid dread

The most I know of is some controversies where some years ago earlier in his career he kind of failed to properly manage his team, I believe there was drama related to that and maybe some underpaid employees? I’m not fully tapped in but I recall hearing hes better at it these days

This hotel that I'm currently staying at had no warning about the security deposit and took $100 dollars until my stay's up. I have ~$20 left so if you could help with the work finances until I get paid Monday, I'd appreciate it. I apologize for constantly asking, but this job doesn't pay much.

Roxas - Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Roxas, alone, wearing his Organisation 13 black coat with the hood up. In his right hand he is holding the stick from a sea-salt ice cream between his fingertips, the word "WINNER" written on it as it is in-game. His left hand is raised up to the hood, keeping it pulled over his head. The background is more abstract, featuring a colourful silhouette of the Organisation's castle in The World That Never Was, the moon-like Kingdom Hearts situated high above it. All other background details are made up of solid rectangles and light motes.

They literally directly point out how similar he looks to both of them in toy box

WinterSound @wintersound.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

i miss the fact babies would take several days to grow up instead of a single montage, and i dont particularly miss all the little minigames and interactable gifting items because they were all very much a "huh neat" and then i never touch them again thing, but i dont think it would hurt to have 'em

I like watching funny and silly stuff happen to characters I like! And that’s way more pronounced now than it used to be! It’s that simple!

WinterSound @wintersound.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Would living the dream be a better game if it had the stuff 3ds cut? Most likely, and in some cases most definitely, but I just don’t agree that it’s a far worse game because it lacks these things when they adjusted the fundamentals so much in a way that only enhances tomodachi’s core to me

230

WinterSound @wintersound.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

I feel crazy seeing everyone say the 3ds game was better with its limitations because you literally couldn’t do shit with the old mii maker man this is just so much better and more enjoyable to me that I can make characters and people that actually resemble their real characters
