Pre-orders for CrunchyRoll's Sailor Moon UK Steelbook Blu-rays are doing great on Amazon and other online retailers, and the 90s anime has become the best seller in the Blu-ray, Steelbook and Anime categories...!🥳💖🌙

Sailor Wink 💖🌙 @winkclw.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The first season of Sailor Moon on Steelbook Blu-ray will contain a bonus feature about the Viz Media English dub of the 90s anime, and the fourth season on Steelbook Blu-ray will contain the 3-part SuperS TV Special.

020

Sailor Wink 💖🌙 @winkclw.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Each Steelbook Blu-ray for the 90s Sailor Moon anime will retail at £70, and will contain both the new English dub by Viz Media and the original Japanese language version with English subtitles as well as textless openings and endings and trailers.

Sailor Wink 💖🌙 @winkclw.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Here's what the Steelbook Blu-rays for the 90s Sailor Moon from CrunchyRoll UK look like. Each season will contain 5-6 discs per Steelbook Blu-ray (5 discs each for seasons 1 to 3, and 6 discs each for seasons 4 to 5), and each will come with an art card.

I'll be using this account to promote CrunchyRoll's upcoming UK release of Sailor Moon, and I'll be looking to see if the UK Steelbook Blu-rays are worth buying or not. But other than that I'm happy with Viz Media's North American Sailor Moon Blu-rays and DVDs for now.

010

Sailor Wink 💖🌙 @winkclw.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

However... As I'm still buying Viz Media's North American Blu-rays for the 90s Sailor Moon anime, and since each of the five UK Steelbook Blu-ray season sets from CrunchyRoll are going to be priced at £70, I'll be sticking with Viz Media's current releases for the time being.

Sailor Wink 💖🌙 @winkclw.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

I'm really happy with the fact that Sailor Moon is truly making a grand return to the UK from August this year with CrunchyRoll's Steelbook Blu-rays for all five seasons of the 90s anime, meaning that British Moonies like me can finally watch it legally.

After looking at the disc count and on-disc content, I can safely assume that CrunchyRoll's UK Steelbook Blu-rays for Sailor Moon will be using the same disc materials as Madman's Australian Blu-rays. And it appears that each season will come with a free art card.
