That was a nailbiter end of the #bears game! #17 is a serious backup QB.

Oh dear. Vikings block a fantastic play series for the #bears. Sigh.

Enjoy! Been more than a couple of decades since I've been!

I haven't watched a Chicago Bears game in a dogs age. #Vikings #Bears

Frustrating when you take a sick day because it's a nice day out, and you end up feeling like carp and don't get out and do anything.

Amazing images for your computer or zoom background!

@chuq.bsky.social Your digitizing project in the latest newsletter struck a chord with me - I've inherited several thousand family photos going back generations. I've been looking at Legacy box vs an Epson flatbed. The longest part is going to be matching up people in the photos.

So this showed up this week. Should be fun at the range. Need to sort out what optics to put on it! #308

I still want some generation of the Fireblade!

Nicely done to include the statement of the Libertarian candidate too. Thank you.

I like it. You form your own head canon about their appearance, making the story more memorable and personal. But I could just be weird.

The other half of what I was working on. Today anyway! 500 photos still to go through! Enjoy the first movement of their 2026 show!

Well after reading your pinned thread, I put in the pre-order. And I may pick up the game Sunday night. Looks like it will be a good read and true to your writing!

@tkingfisher.com the new Baldurs Gate book - is it a solid Kingfisher book, or did you have to write it to spec? Oh, I'm getting this wrong. I hope you know what I mean... Anyway...

A bit of what I was working on yesterday - and editing today!

Kind of a witch to do major service on, but a brilliant bike!

Why does that headline read like Claude wrote it? Starting to get a Neal Stephenson /Pattern Recognition/ flinch every time I see AI content.

What an amazing photo of the partial solar eclipse effects. We saw similar shadows in the most recent one in the Midwest US.

Oh good! A D&D thread! I haven't seen one of these in a while and I miss them!

And before burning my brain on Norse genealogical history, I took a drive through the Flint Hills of Kansas to Winfield - a few photos: www.flickr.com/photos/kcspo...

What is Aix oil? Do we throw obsolete IBM RS6000 workstations in a press?

And the KC Royals are still full steam ahead on a multi-billion dollar downtown stadium to host their record breaking loosing season. Well, that's special, isn't it?

And the shooter got of "3 or 4 rounds", damn quick response by the 'good guy with a gun'. Could have been hella worse.

My post for this shot - some 30+ feet above the field in the top of the coaches reviewing stand. Shot video - although the wind blew out the audio completely - on the Canon HF G-70 camcorder. We'll see if I can rescue any of that tomorrow. #photosky #photography

What I was working on yesterday and today. Fuji XT-2, Fuji XF23mmF2 R WR and the new (to me) XF150-600mmF5.6-8 R LM OIS WR. Damn, that 600mm lens has some reach, and really shows you the power of "F8 and show up". More clear, more clean images than I'm used to. #photosky #photography #sooc
