A bit of what I've been working on. Multi-cam, drug out the good sound system (Rode M5's in ORTF on the track, 32/96 Tascam FR-AV2) and cut it all together in DaVinci Resolve. What I do for fun.

Frustrating when you take a sick day because it's a nice day out, and you end up feeling like carp and don't get out and do anything.

@chuq.bsky.social Your digitizing project in the latest newsletter struck a chord with me - I've inherited several thousand family photos going back generations. I've been looking at Legacy box vs an Epson flatbed. The longest part is going to be matching up people in the photos.

@tkingfisher.com the new Baldurs Gate book - is it a solid Kingfisher book, or did you have to write it to spec? Oh, I'm getting this wrong. I hope you know what I mean... Anyway...

What I was working on yesterday and today. Fuji XT-2, Fuji XF23mmF2 R WR and the new (to me) XF150-600mmF5.6-8 R LM OIS WR. Damn, that 600mm lens has some reach, and really shows you the power of "F8 and show up". More clear, more clean images than I'm used to. #photosky #photography #sooc

Another late night thought. The only places I’ve heard that straight up canceled elections, as we’re seeing in Louisiana and Alabama, were African tribal nations as they struggled to become democracies. Those usually ended up in quite unpleasant battles. We can hope for better for us.

Panigale V2 S 100

Panigale V2 S 100 is developed from the Panigale V2 S: the lightest ever Panigale, it marked a watershed moment in the history of Ducati sports twins because, for the first time, it was not derived from the higher-capacity motorcycle racing in Superbike. With this special edition, technical and style elements become part of the story, transforming the Panigale V2 S 100 into an object that combines performance and heritage. A chapter of Collezione100 that celebrates true sports roots, re-expressed with contemporary language
