I decided I wanted to model a racecar and now I'm in geometry hell. Everything is manifold and quad-flow so that Subdivision Surface works nicely. And in my own hubris I didn't even go for a simple car design.

German Wikipedia says this happened for the 1971 season (so probably in '70 or early '71) and quotes only 6.6l displacement. It also quotes only 750hp for the 16-cyl, but that may be down to net vs gross.

My impression was that it is going to be significantly upmarket and luxury oriented. But of course that's a big U-turn from Jaguar before which was burning prestige to get volume (and then failed to maintain their lineup so volume fell again). There's a reason they tried so hard.

I don't think they're making that car yet either, they're still a car brand making no cars. Also I want to see an XJR live at some point. But they don't come to Germany often. So maybe Spa Classic? Because I'll always choose LM24 over Classic.

I've always assumed that his biggest asset is his experience, nobody else has been around the sport anywhere near as long as him. Given how cyclical things can be in the sport, that's helpful.

RTS splash screen #art is great, so I made one for one of the many conflicts in Ipadu. Inspired by the many fantastic art pieces shown in Armored Brigade, Wargame and Steel Divison.

A fictional halftrack and a fictional radar guided SPAA of the Federal Midlands Mandate engage jet powered aircraft of the Free State of Triskelo over scenic rice fields.

Sadly, none of the featured vehicles have had their articles written up yet, so I cant post a link to them on the blog.
