the title changed, too, it's "the price to pay"

I'm kinda tired of the fun WLW romances, all the WLW romances I've read this year were low stakes and not much drama. I liked Happily Ever Afterlife because there's yearning, emotions, connection through art, and the stakes are high

if anyone's looking for a speculative story with a lesbian ghost, your search is over (it's an open ending book, but I believe in the HEA ending). it's the same author of "Don't Want You Like a Best Friend", which I didn't read because someone said the writing wasn't good, but I liked the new book.

cover of Happily Ever Afterlife by Emma R. Alban

voted today and I'll know who won* later, what a concept * there is a runoff election if most voted candidate doesn't reach 50% plus one votes, but only the top 2 compete

her best opening track (it's a tie with the 1)

I'm not from the US and weed is illegal, so maybe people saying this are non-US? or from a very conservative background...

Well. Funny enough. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys happens to be playing right now. “He was my best friend Down at the sandlot” Sandlot obviously refers to a litter box. Benji is breaking his fave cat toys. They were expensive. So Taylor had to write a song in order to pay for his habit

I really hope she already did, too! the paternity test fans deserve this treatment

life was a willow @windwillowing.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

if I were taylor, I would write a love song to my cats and leave the fans guessing (but she's better than I and is doing something deeper)

I'm so uncomfortable because of cramps, but it's my aunt's birthday and we're going to a cafe to celebrate and there'll be cake, should I trouble myself for cake? but it hurts thinking about wearing a bra

Some reactions in my swifties non-gaylor group: 1- can we root for a divorce? 2- she’s obviously in mania N2 totally made me think about the ttpd prologue… we’re still in the manuscript

Thank you, this is what I heard! The one positive is that I missed her laughing in songs, it’s cool she’s doing it again

120

life was a willow @windwillowing.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I think I heard a laugh in the background right after, but I'll have to listen again later to confirm

“He likes what he likes, what he likes and he likes me” can’t believe she recorded it without laughing 😅🤣

I was toying with 12/11/26 and adding 1+2+1+1+2+6=13 and it’s a Friday, so if she’s gonna release new music in December, this could be a possibility

yeah ed sheeran has lost me completely after hearing his fake ass speech in philly. there are no excuses and somehow he managed to make them. grow a fucking spine and stand up for what’s right. this is so disappointing “i don’t talk politics because i want your money” is how this reads
