Found out on Instagram (@roawind) that today is #NationalOwlDay! 🦉🥰 Remember to be kind to your #owls. I 💯 agree that owls are the cutest but they are also meant to be wild animals. Have enrichment for them; have them "hunt" for some of their food. Teach them to fly! Support your local #raptorrehab

Gloria Steinem was a social activist and feminist icon who spent decades advocating for civil rights and equality. As a trailblazing journalist in the 1960s and 1970s, her work brought national attention to critical issues including gender-based workplace discrimination and abortion rights.

I woke up today particularly bold. Soon after I dotted the last sentence for the description of "Most Wanted," I found out that #GloriaSteinem, the feminist icon who kickstarted women's activism in the US, passed away yesterday. What an honor for this painting to become a small tribute to her.

I went out on an errand today, and was struck by how large the moon appeared—I simply had to take the camera out for a spin. A gamble, might I add, since #moonpics are notoriously tricky. But! To my delight, the #moon actually showed up as seen. Taken from the Maya Corridor near #DTLA #BloodMoon
