If you’ve ever loved #bloodbowl, you’ll know who Pete Knifton is, from his artwork. Sadly, Pete passed away last night. He was a funny, clever and immensely talented guy who always had time to chat. He’ll be very much missed. roebeast.blogspot.com/2016/10/pete...

Vectis Auctions had some original box (card) art on display at the Sandown Park toy fair, presumably they'll be in an upcoming auction.

That's just from the vid screenshot. Likely poor OCR by the KO makers, as they have similar issues on others. Firelight on the Superion KO, Bommander on the Grimlock KO, for example

110

Jims @wilsonjim.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

Haha, no, defo a KO. There are other tells. Main one is that it's a Defensor giftset, as it's the rarest US giftset and you're unlikely to see one, but some notes here: www.highendtfs.com/defensor

Jims @wilsonjim.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

FYI Nick @toyfu332.bsky.social The g1 Defensor giftset in the vid is a KO, check the name on the techspec

It's not going to be the product you or I *exactly* want, but ultimately it makes the material available to an audience, which isn't a bad thing.

020

Jims @wilsonjim.bsky.social · 09/04/2025

I don't really use social media these days, not avoiding mentioning anything, but I've been involved. Everything should be in the final product. Hachette files are being used, edits will be made to them.

10 ans aujourd'hui. GNU Terry Pratchett

Just found a huge pile of artwork in the bottom of a cupboard that has loads of my stuff from the very beginnings at Marvel UK in 1987 on Action Force and Transformers (including covers) through to Stormwatch in 1998. It's not comprehensive but it's a pile over a foot tall. Ever for GI Joe 108 too

When we did this one, Matt switched the zine to full colour, @danghile.bsky.social had the idea of doing "zine" colours instead of full colour and I was all for it. Still looks good. I also made him do expressions on a robot without a lower face (Wheeljack).
