Runebergintorttu is so much more dense and moist than I expected. Reeeaaally nice, the little portion is definitely enough. And obviously, the salmon was delicious

2nd Finnish staple food, consumed. Very nice, I don't know what the other ingredients are, but it has a more christmassy taste that regular cinnamon rolls.

I spent about 70% of the game waiting for her to turn out to be a villain, like she's mole and actually works for that other organisation that's watching the FBC. And when she didn't I thought 'oh, so this really is all there is to her huh?' Such a shame because generally Remedy have great women

Will @willtpj.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

💯 I was thinking how good it would be if she was just a cop or something, and maybe a little older (basically Florez). A different perspective but a common 'fish out of water' connection. She feels like she's there to replace Jesse's inner monologue from the first game, and force some music moments

'Two years of dreaming, wishing, damn near praying for Alan to come back, and there he was in front of her. Pressed against her. Holding her firm and drawing every bit of attention to the solid reality of him. But it wasn't him. It was a shadow, perfectly in the shape of him, yet hollow and cold.'

In a mere few days I'll get to wave at the Remedy office and sit by the original Cauldron Lake while reading the Alan Wake novelisation. My nerd heart is full

It's important to occasionally spend a portion of your work day neglecting your duties and instead rewatching all of the Mr Scratch tapes from Alan Wake's American Nightmare for mental health wellbeing and enrichment.

I love how Dylan doesn't take fall damage when jumping from heights, he just hurts his pride instead #ControlResonant

The closest thing I can think to compare it to is Portal. Like I had to learn how to think differently when playing that game, to think about space/physics differently, and this is doing a similar thing to my brain. It's really really impressive. I hope they win so many awards (make so much money)

I think it's genuinely the most impressive level design I've ever seen. I know I'm biased towards everything Remedy does, but holy shit. I can't get my head around how you begin to plan out some of these levels/zones.

I don't think I've played a game this much non-stop since maybe Skyrim. My eyes are so dry but it's so worth it. #ControlResonant

A smart person would capitalise on a new Control game coming out by doing fanart of Dylan. Anyway, I'm drawing Alan again.

Game complete, pretty much did a 100% run which wasn't my intention going in this time but I'm as ready for Resonant as I think I can be. Soooo many little things that made me go 'oooo I wonder if that was a set up for the sequel/will be addressed' Very excited for Thursday 😁

100%. I think it's way more likely that he is intimidatingly knowledgable about certain things. Where Jesse is street smart and easy to like but knowns nothing about the paranatural world or the science side of things, I think Dylan will be the inverse.
