With a long form gpose fic ongoing since 2022 with hundreds ep, it's hard to pick one. so I'll go with one where—albeit one of the most hard emotionally to create—I managed to convey the emotions exactly as I wanted to. from Vol 4 Ch.7 "Tormented slumbers" (see 📌) ⚠️tw: miscarriage mention

the file that was found by players pushing me to ask again if gen-ai was involved in the creation process. I need to add that the moderators were not aware when they answered me that the not gen-ai was used, their disappointment is just as great as anyone else’s who cares abt this. it's so sad

CLAUDE.md file in the local files of the game Spirit crossing on Steam

If you use AI coding agents, you face the same challenge: how do you give them enough context to understand your architecture, conventions, and workflows without repeating yourself?

The problem compounds as your codebase grows. Complex module relationships, domain-specific patterns, and team conventions don't surface easily. You end up explaining the same architectural decisions, testing requirements, and code style preferences at the start of every conversation.

CLAUDE.md files solve this by giving Claude persistent context about your project. Think of it as a configuration file that Claude automatically incorporates into every conversation, ensuring it always knows your project structure, coding standards, and preferred workflows.

It came to my attention that the game Spirit crossing developed by Spry Fox might use gen-ai so i asked for a clear answer from the devs on the discord. Their answer is sadly yes, they are using CLAUDE the AI assistant in the process. The game looked amazing & now i'll never touch it again *sigh*

Hi,

The other day I asked about the use of gen-ai & chat bot for the development and progression of the game and i have been answered that no gen-ai was used in the creation of the game. But today someone brought to my attention on bluesky the existence of a file in the local folder of the game named CLAUDE.md. But according to our knowledge and research Claude is an AI assistant. So I'd like an explanation. I feel confused.

I hope this is a misunderstanding and an explanation somewhere, if not I'd be very disappointed and I'm not the only one; we need full transparency please.

Thank you

Chedd
Hi folks, sorry, I've been AFK with family in town today and only just noticing this AI conversation now, right before I was planning to go to bed!
Our designers and engineers are using Claude to make their lives easier; for example, designers will use Claude to help them make a change they want to make by editing dozens of config files quickly instead of painstakingly editing each file by hand. We do not use any form of genAI in any way to create content in Spirit Crossing. All the art, music, etc, is 100% human created. And will continue to be.

#🍪🌟❤️ G'raha outfit for Evercold- Perfect for the Battle mage-All-rounder he is, this gear allows him to both fight as dps, tank & more rarely as healer in my team). Comfort, protection, pouches containing trinkets & potions + the lantern for combat at night, since the Nodu live mostly at night

Important: the phial attached to their thigh contain a healing potion based on Nehru's aether (Nehru made it in case they would not be able to heal them in combat for whatever reason)

#🍀☀️💚📜 Virah'li outfit for Evercold- Their title is "Stricking Scholar" due to their fighting style being a mix of hand to hand combat and scholar abilities, with the fact that their punches are particularly powerful and devastating. A true shockwave with a single movement.
