In the ad where Deirdre the Tesco worker is in a taxi and asked if she's been busy, it's my contention that when she throws herself backward against the seat, she's actually having a fatal medical episode and the rest of the ad is playing out in her mind in a Jacob's Ladder scenario #SpéirGorm
Screenshot from the Tesco ad where Deirdre the Tesco worker is in a taxi underwater with a mermaid swimming past the window. She is clearly suffering from some serious neurological condition (brain bleed or similar) and we are seeing the final bizarre conjurings of her mind as she circles the drain. It's quite sad and I'm not sure if it inspires me to do my weekly shop in Tesco to be honest

Bono, appearing in a portrait-aspect cameo style message to congratulate Katie Taylor on her Croke Park fight. He wears rose-tinted glasses that are strangely large and go way up on his forehead, along with a kind of cylindrical shaped hat, he looks like a desiccated version of the shopkeeper from the costume shop frequented by Mr. Benn

This post brought me down a minor rabbit hole and I’ve learned more than I cared to about the Oetker dynasty
Second World War
During the 1930s and 1940s, Rudolf August Oetker was an active member of the Waffen-SS
of the Third Reich. The company supported the war effort by providing pudding mixes and munitions to German troops. The business used slave labour in some of its facilities. A bronze bust of Richard Kaselowsky still sits within the company headquarters in Bielefeld. Kaselowsky was killed during an air raid on Bielefeld in 1944.
12] The Oetker family is among those that have profited most from their close relations to the Nazi regime.
